I am six weeks away from my first figure competition and 7 weeks in. This discussion board has helped tremendously! I have yet another question.

Everything on my body is coming along except right below my glutes and to the sides (saddlebags). The area is getting smaller but so ugly and jiggly still. I am hitting this area with various exercise and interval cardio to the max. I have used the diet advice from one of the other members online and am doing well with that. So will this shape up in time??? Any suggestions? FYI - I do not want to take a weight loss supplement.

Are you taking Lean Out, drinking at least 1 gal of water per day?

I don't know how much you're talking about, but it is a good time to take some Water Balance pills (GNC or Vitamin Shoppe). You'll start mobilizing fat to move out of the system.

Stats sound great.

Up the water to AT LEAST 1 gallon per day. Lean out really helped me shed lower body and abdominal fat. Try doing AM cardio (about 20 min) on an empty stomach- but do take 4-5 Musculatiry caps before you start and 1 scoop glutamine select while doing cardio (sipping).

Also monitor sodium intake- keep in low.

True!! Yohimbe is a stimulant and for some reason is entirely gender specific in its' effects and side effects!

It is really cheap and worth a shot. At the very least, it will give your metabolism a quick jolt. Try 100mg in the with your first meal, and another 100mg before your workout.

WHOA!! LET ME CLARIFY: Yohimbe HCL 5-7mg 2x a day, Yohimbe Bark extract 100mg 2x a day.... I would personally go with the Yohimbe HCL as the Yohimbe Bark extract is very inconsistant in its concentration levels.

Sorry about that... nobody needs a heart attack!

Yohimbine HCL, yohimbe is the extract.

5 mg Yohimbine HCL, 200mg caffeine (start with 100mg, get No Doze) and 1 aspirin, YCA stack.

This works on the alpah receptors which women have more of in the lower body, but men have them too and this works for both genders.

Take care,

The solution to your concern is tweaking your diet. We don't know your current nutrition. Additionally, decrease the rest times between sets on a gradual basis. Work very, very quickly but keep the weights heavy. Supplement-wise, I would go with Lean Out and GH Factor.

GH Factor: 3 upon wakeup, 3 before bed. On workout days, I'd also take an additional 3 caps during training. Or, you can try 2 GHF prior to each meal (while continuing taking 3 caps during training)

Lean Out: 2 20 min prio to each meal for 2 weeks. Then take one week off. After the week break, take 3 LO prior to each meal for the next three weeks leading into your show.

Good luck!

Jason-

Question about the YCA stack-

I have Yohimbe extract 135 mg per capsule. (I couldnt seem to fing Yohimbe HCL at my local health store).

So my question is how to use this in place of the HCL (for the YCA stack)?

Also, when/how often should this stack be taken? In the AM? before workouts? both?

Thanks!

Kelly, I dont know about the yohimbe.

Go with Yohimbine HCL, www.bulknutrition.com. They come in 2.5 mg tabs.

You take 1mg for every 10 lbs of weight. If you weight 120 take 12 mg per day.

Divide them over 3 servings. One out of bed, mid afternoon and prior to training.

200 mg caff, 4 mg Yohimbine, 1 aspirin. Id start at half the dosage though....

bulknutrition has a decent write up about it...

Good Luck with it...
