when you get the urge to cheat, just run to a mirror and grab as much fat as you can on your body. Or flex and tell yourself is cheating really worth it??
"Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is mearly energy condensed through a slow vibration, we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There is no such thing as death, life is only a dream and we're the imaginations of ourselves..." -Bill Hicks "Think and Inform thyself...Question Everything." A man's ethical behavior should be based effectually on sympathy, education, and social ties; no religious basis is necessary. Man would indeeded be in a poor way if he had to be restrained by fear of punishment and hope of reward after death." --Einstein, Albert |

You're in the home stretch, don't give up now!! If I crave a cookie or something sweet, I just think of myself on stage in that itty-bitty bikini (I'm in bodybuilding, but same difference)...in front of hundreds of people critiquing me then the cookie looks worse and worse!! The worst feeling is after the competition you think, dang if I just didn't cheat here and there I could have beat that girl...a few cookies add up and can be the difference between first and second place!
Especially now in the last three weeks a lot of changes will occur and you'll lose bodyfat, but only if you stick to the diet and DON'T cheat! So how does that cookie sound now?? Shred Betty |

Thank you for the comments...Shred Betty, that's interesting that you said a lot of changes will occur in the last few weeks...I've been thinking that there is not a whole lot more I can do to lose more body fat. Where are you from in Michigan?

At 3 weeks out it's all down to willpower and discipline! You just have to tell yourself that there's only 21 days left until you're standing up on stage, and every single one counts, in both dieting and working out. You wouldn't consider not going to the gym for a planned workout these last weeks, so stay with the Beverly program foodwise as well. I know it can be tough some days, but we all go through it, and once you stand up on stage you'll be able to tell who was able to resist the temptations and did his/her homework. Plus it'll feel (and taste) much better to have that cookie after the show when you beat the person who got weak!
