my first figure competition is coming up and I was wondering if any of you seasoned competitors would give me any advise on things to bring/pack the day of the show that I might not have thought of...or any other advise/tips that would help me be better prepared that day.

one thing i have found is that i can never bring to much stuff. some things you definitely should bring with you are npc card, money(if there is a pro photographer-get some pics of urself), a towel, pam spray or whatever oil you will be using, set of clean clothes that you don't mind getting protan on after the show, walkmanwith headphones, bikini bite, hair and makeup essentials, deodorant, shoes to wear after the show when you go out for pizza!!, of course your posing suits and shoes. i know most places won't let you take any tanning stuff to a show but i take it anyway for touchups. i always take a camera too for backstage pics. you will truly appreciate pics from ur first show. i usually pack the night before and usually remember to add more stuff on morning of the show. Good luck and have fun!

old rags for protan/bronzer clean up, ankle socks, handy wipes, needle and thread, scissors and safety pins (I will have this with me if you have an emergency), mirror, velour "car type blanket" is nice to have to sit on...again I have several in my Jeep if you don't have one. nail polish for touch up.

Don't forget your water, food/cooler and supplements, hot tea, etc. I bring 'too much' to be safe and have just in the event something is needed. I'd rather drag more than needed - then panic if not enough. Between the 3 of us .. we'll have each other covered. I did bring the blanket last weekend to sit on backstage.. I was glad I had it. You are well prepared.. relax! Big Grin
