This may be a dumb question, but I really don't know how to apply tan for show. I am a male. Do I paint it on my butt, high and tight as well, so there would be no visible lines when posing suit is on. OR do I paint around my trunks. The last thing I want is my suit creeping up and showing a white cheek. I also don't want to ruin suit by getting tan on it.

So, could somebody fill me in on the finer points of applying tan around the "nether region". Thanks in advance, I tried to ask this in all seriousness.

This must be your first contest. It has been my experience and always been great working with other contestants. There's been someone there to help out. Your primary coat or coats just cover all areas that will be exposed. If you want to move in just a little, that works better.

In many cases, the trunks will move or creep in a bit. There's absolutely no way to prevent it from getting on the trunks. You'll get on there one way or another. Someone sitting on a chair, bump into you, etc.

As for where to put it on, any exposed part where you've shaven. Ears, even eyelids.

I always laugh at the price of these things. Quite expensive skimpy underwear, eh?!

A good trick of the trade, is to wear another posing suit, even some underwear or something like that over your real posing trunks, to avoid getting any tan on them.

Thanks, I will have my wife help me apply a few applications of tan some weekend this summer as a trial to see how many coats and what to use for sheen. Should I use Pro Tan for color and then rub on Dream tan for sheen?
