For the first time, i used Olympic competition tan and Olympic posing oil for my contest last night. The results were better than expected. These products trump everything else available in my opinion.

Olympic competition tan- dispenses in a foam from a pump dispenser. Applies evenly and mess-free. Completely dries within 30 min (dont believe the 5 min claim on the bottle). You will be able to sleep on your sheets after using the competition tan. When you shower the next morning, a little will run off, but the water will clear quickly. As the day progresses, you'll forget you even have a tanning product on your skin. I applied 3 coats, but those who are light-skinned may need more. Can be applied without gloves, but will need to rinse hands after application if gloves are not used. Great product.

Posing oil- also contained in a pump dispenser. Can be applied without gloves! Applied in a thin layer. Goes on evenly and does not leave a shiny film. Perfect sheen for the stage. I simply rubbed the product in like lotion. No need for PAM or other product on top of the posing oil. No need to pat the body down with a towel. Great product.

ALSO, no matter what product you prefer, be sure to exfoliate before your first coat of tanner. I highly recommend the Olympic tanning products.

You can purchase Olympic tanning stuff from bodybuilding.com.

Hey Aram,

Thanks for the kind words and thank you for all the knowledge you impart to the members and guests of this board. You're very much appreciated!

Regarding the NPC Tri-State Open Championships this past saturday, our own Scott Fanti overwhelmed the combined bantam/lightweight class (1st) and did well in the >35 master's class. He looked great and it was pleasure talking with him throughout the day and night.

I placed 1st in the open middleweight class and discovered later that i was 2nd (though it doesnt count) to the heavyweight for the overall title. I understand the overall vote was a split decision.

My final contest of the year is in two weeks. I'll be in Manchester, NH competing in another NPC national qualifier, the MA/NH States and Tournament of Champions on 9/26.

Congratulations on your well earned success.

Thanks for posting about the Olympic Tan. I was awaiting your response before I purchased it.

How much product did you use with three coats ?

I started process with a light base tan from the bed. Not as dark as in past as I am trying to go to this show with better skin quality. Last show my skin was so dry the tan was uneven.

Wed night I did a first Coat of O Tan. This stuff goes on like a dream. No more "dread" to the painting process. First coat took a while as I was extra carefull, did alone !! Very even, no drip !!

Thursday I did a coat at 6 pm and 10:30 pm...both coats were on in 15 min and dry enough to put clothes on in 15-20 min.

Friday morning..got up shower moisturized, plan to show off lotion and paint after a bit....and then a coat before leaving for Buffalo, and one before bed.

Morning I will either Dream Tan, or Bronzer sheen in room and put on clothes so it sinks in well.

It is IMPORTANT to note that at 3 coats of ProTan I am darker. The again my base was darker too.... I would guess I am one coat behind in color...so if you do 5 coats protan you may need 6 coats of O Tan...but it is easier to apply so you will not mind!!

Oh and skin is not as dry !!!

I didnt use dream tan for my contests. I used the olympic posing oil, so i dont know how the combination of olympic tan competition tan coupled with dream tan #2 will look. I suspect you wont have any problems with a light coat of dream tan #2 on top of the olympic tan.

There was a post on this subject on the Muscle Mayhem board...and several noted that YES it looks good w/ Dream Tan over it...light and done properly of course. If I was dark enough I would not mess w/ DT but since I am not and I avaoid oil for Figure the Bronzers have a sheen in it.
