thanks craig..the NABF shows are the only ones i ever done..after reading what people are saying about thew NPC shows on this i hesitated about doing that one in sept.. but im gonna use it as a warm up.. there is one more NABF show one week before the chicago show..its called the north star..i took first in the master and second in men open med class..so being that ill be hitting the big 5 0 this august im mightr just do the grand master there..hey adivce/comments is appreciated

The earlier you are ready the easier the diet becomes at the end and then foods can even be added back to the diet!

yeah that is usually the plan..ive bben a bad boy hitting the bar every weekend since the last show,,just gonna drink one more time in august for my birthday..gonna be a big gig, band and probably half the town..anyway i usually have my cals between 3000-3500 dropping from 185 to 176( havent had a off season in about 2yrs which i weight 195-200.
day 1-200 carbs
day 2-100 carbs
days3-almost 0
then repeat
cheat day is one a week
10 days out i change all that

No reason to ever go down to ZERO, easy way to lose that hard earned muscle! Maximize carbs on the way down to retain as much muscle as possible and still lose bodyfat, as carbs are the biggest muscle sparing nutrient out there!
What are your other numbers??

thats how ive done it in the past and did very well..what would you suggest maybe the first day at about 200 the next two at 100 then repeat?
here is a run down on my meals 6 days a week..the 7th i eat whatever and gotta have my pizza..funny thing is the next day im even tighter.

M1- 6 egg whites, 5oz burger,3/4of oats with strawbeeries{next day 1/2 of oats}

M2- 6 egg whites,5oz burger,apple

M3-8oz chicken breasts,can of green beans,3/4 cup of oats[next day 1/2}

M4- shake,aplle or 8 oz burger,apple

M5 shake,3/4 cup of oats blended in{1/2}

M6 same as 3

M7 12 eggwhites

and i mean i eat this 6 days a week

Imagine how much tighter, fuller, and harder you could be if you did do that and keep carbs in, if you can do that with a cheat meal, you have one **** of a metabolic rate especially for a almost 50 year old! YOu really get that way from the extra fats and carbs of the pizza being in a depleted state!

around here where im from they call me a genetic freakand that i work agaisnt the law ofphysio...i am very hard and dry at the shows i do,,just afraid to do carb loading i guess.. i know if you ever seen me in person you would say the same as the rest you dont even look 40/dont change a thing your doing.
