Increase Muscle Mass precontest

Is it possible to increase Muscle Mass while on a pre contest diet ? I would imagine that it is difficult due to low calories and the cardio regime. The reason I ask I have visably leaned out in the last few weeks....the mirror, my clothes and tape measure, calipers say I have lost fat. BUT if I step on the scales (always 1st thing in the morning)they haven't budged in about 14 days. I think this is Odd.

Please specify which stage of pre-contest dieting you are in. Beginning first 4 weeks, middle grey area or final 4 weeks. I bet it is the first 2 weeks??
Am I right? Clarifying will help answer this puzzle. It is not odd at all to lose fat and gain muscle. THat is the perfect world of BEVERLY.

Second clarification = did you just begin a creatine loading cycle?

Actually I am in the last 3 weeks of a 16 week pre contest plan. So I think maybe the answer is FORGET the scales, put them away, out of sight. I am doing nothing new except swithched to the Glutamine Supreme 2 weeks ago. I was taking it three times a day. I just switched back to the Beverly Glutamine to finish out the last few weeks.

LT...I use Muscularity in place of Muscle Mass during my workouts. So, at about the 8 week out point (if not sooner) I will make sure I get about 20 during my workout. I will also back off the Mass Aminos by 1 with each meal, and add 3 Muscularity. That might be an option for you. You'll want to make sure you are getting plently of BCAA's during the final stages of the contest prep, not only during training but all throughout the day. The BCAA's will help your body focus on burning fat while keeping the muscle - especially when you start restricting calories.

Two reasons I use Muscularity instead of Muscle Mass during precontest is that 1) I get 30 more capsule per container, and 2) Muscularity has some additional ingredients that assist in fatloss and BCAA utilization.

Ultimately, if you are using a Bev advisor, consult with that person. The information above was passed on to me by my Bev advisor, and through research that I have done.
