Battle is March 27th, and then historically the Cincinnati is exactly two weeks later, but Im not exactly sure on that date. If Rick Reuther is promoting it still check...www.reutherproductions.com. If that doesnt work switch the "e" and "u". I cant quite remember the website.

Thanks Jason. Yea, i check Ruether's website before i posted. He's the worst at keeping it updated. It still has the dates to last year's Cincinnati up.
One other thing ~ the Battle, is it still a Nat'l Qualifier and is it a tested show???
Oh, aren't you gonna do a show this year?

Hey Margie,

I didnt make the connection with the sicily1962.

As for the shows this year...no Im sitting them out. With school and a minor chronic health issue Ive been dealing with, training has been a bit down lately. Ill rebound, but my heart isnt in it this year, so its best to wait until it is. Ive been training with tall Steve and he is in full contest prep mode (first one), so that is keeping me near it, but not on stage.

As for the Battle it is not a tested show. And it is a Nat'l Qualifier this year. I just spoke to Bill about it not long ago. He is really doing it up right this year. He has two-three major sponsors that are going to be there. They will be providing all competitors with bags of goodies. He is going to have a spread of food backstage with water and juices etc. Every class winner gets a fleece jacket with the show name and class won as well as the usual medieval gear. All in all it sounds like a fantastic show.

Talk to ya later,

J

jason ~ lol! I knew you would have the scoop!

Well, if you have the info on the show, like where to get an entry, etc..., pass it on k?
Last year, Bill talked of setting up a website, i didn't know if he had done that yet.

Thanks again. I look forward to seeing you in the cheering section at the shows!

Call Bills store at 385-5414, I think thats the number. Just provide your address to him or the lady that answers and he should send you an entry form.

The Cincinnati has not historically been a NQ, however, the battle which looks to be three weeks before it is a NQ.

Additional information about 2004 B.B show schedule in PDF Format can be obtained from NPC News Online. A good site to visit to see contest results with photos as well. Nice to look at the physiques who are winning and work toward emulating the same look. I always suggest figure competitors look at the pics before they order their suits. Just suggestions. And yes, the Cincinnati will again be in Norwood this year, but may move Downtown next year to add excitement. And this year as with last year - cool trophies like the full size battle axes will make a reappearance i think. Any info needed about shows in OH, KY, WV - just let me know. mailto:tstorch@cinci.rr.com

Tammy ~
i do have a question concerning the Cincinnati.
There doesn't seem to be a Womens Masters division this year~ is that right or just an oversight?
thanks.

That's true sicily1962, the site is not often updated, but there will be a Women's Masters. Expect the Cincinnati to be much more heavily promoted this year. It truly is a historic event and always nice to earn the title from the city you live in. Have a great day.

In most shows it's 35 for women and 40 for men to get into the Master's, I'd imagine it's the same for the Cincinnati.
