Things have been nuts lately, for those following along sorry for lack of updates. I had 4 new clients right after work yesterday and then I have 4 in the Mr Cincy this weekend, so its been crazy getting everything straight.

Morning weight was 154 today. Just to note my scale is 2 lbs light (all my clients tell me this) So im not yet under the class mark for lightweight (154 1/4), but obviously with more than 10 weeks no worries there.

I'm feeling pretty good about things. I mean its human nature to think you arent far along enough or arent pushing the diet hard enough. But, each morning I am looking better. Im to that point that I normally dont hit until 5 weeks or 4 where I wake up each day and can notice subtle difference almost daily. Not saying I look 4 weeks out though.

Few diet tweaks. Ive built about 6-7 diets (im listing just carb content right now). They are 150, 175, 200, 225, 245 and a 275. On off days Ive been throwing in the 150, but on that day the protein goes to 2 x LBM. So my macros are around 50/30/20 those days. On the other days I still go with 245 grams protein which for me now is about 1.7 x LBM. Recently ive been doing 200 grams carbs on training days, but on legs Im doing the 225 or 245 carbs depending on how I feel and look. If I feel like olive oil that morning I do the 245 to fill out a bit, if I feel full and good Im pulling the 225, perhaps even the 200. At this point its all on feel on a daily basis for me right now.

Even on the 150 carbs day I feel good, so I know I have room here to even hit some 100 carb days down the stretch if needed. Im talking starches I dont track greens.

Weight has been holding fairly steady, but Im not that concerned as I feel Im on track leaning out.

Cardio is 40 mins morning LISS heart rate around 100 bpm. Pwo is 35 mins. Off days is 40 mins LISS morning and 45 evening. Im gonna start adding 2-3 HIIT sessons in evening on off days too.

Time to put pedal to medal. I feel good and this saturday is 10 weeks out.
Ill get some pics up by Sunday evening.

Let me know if any questions.

Oh yeah, I found out that I can tolerate Yohimbine HCL if I just dont put the 200 mg caffeine with it right away. So Ive been rotating in some YO. That **** makes me on fire, I sweat all day and am hot as ****. You cant deny the stuff works and it works well. I then add in the caffeine from coffee when I get to work.

For some odd reason Yo is a like a laxative for me, TMI, but if anyone has constipation issues try this **** with some coffee, cleans the system right out.

Ss

thanks man, that makes me feel good. Ive had a really good last two weeks. Ab, quad and back are all at 6s, which with 9 weeks to go is a good place for me to be. Ill need my legs at a 4 to be somewhat impressively lean as that skin is just not thin skinned like some. Basically if I knock 2 more off each of these I would be at straight 4s on these skinfolds and should be ready to rock.

Veggies must be doing your body good with the numbers on your skin folds. Good!
Could you post some of your weights? Just curious..

I hit it with that Theracane last night and it was quivering a sure sign there was a trigger point releasing. It felt better this morning.

But yeah, my rear dub bi has been locked weird in pics, its quite annoying. Im working it out though.

I think that I may have this problem. Remember mine would be all weird on the front relaxed and front lat spread. Rear poses it never really did it though, kind of weird.

J-
You've got this diet thing down to a T. You're looking awesome! I'm far from being scared of the carbs now. And the great things is, I don't need to put so much money towards supplements to keep me full and prevent me from losing muscle when dieting.

Love how everyone's putting their contest prep on this board! I'm looking at nationals in September so I'll be hitting the diet here soon too and I'd like to post a thread as well if I get a chance. Since my 3 shows last year and some work at the Arnold, I've been busy prepping 3 girls right now for shows and also have a few others that I train and do nutrition consulting.

So I'm still here but just don't have as much time to get onto the Bev board.

Thanks everyone for your kind words. Still a lot to be done, but the last two weeks have been really productive and since Im making tweaks weekly/biweekly now they changes should keep rolling.

The first phase was to shed fat with no muscle loss at all, check. I ate a good amount of cals for my size and kept a slow steady fat loss.

Now that leaves me time for my stubborn areas to push it harder and dial them in. Which is what Im gonna do.

Healthnut, yes 20 weeks is long, but the first four had a cheat meal of whatever I wanted. And it allows you to eat a lot and actually gain muscle into a prep. Jrs is no joke and to even be competitive this is the length of prep I felt was necessary.

I wanted toupdate the exciting things going on at Natty Nutrition (this is your que to skip this if you are just looking for contest prep updates and information).

As you all already know, Joe Daniels won the Mr. Cincinnati Overall in April after placing first in his class at the Northern KY. He is going to Jr Nationals with me. So look for us both in Chicago. I expect big things from Joe in the coming years. I posted a link earlier to Joes article at Physique World (I think it was). if anyone is reading this in the Cincinnati Tri State area and is looking for a great independent personal trainer contact him or I and I can get you in touch with him.

Natty client Rebekah Day was given a spot in Oxygen magazine. I have been working with Rebekah for about a year now and she won her pro card under Natty's guidance. She is currently preparing for a June 13th show. Read more here if you like:

http://nattynutrition.com/News...s_Natty_Client,.html

Leslie Draper who has been a part of Team Natty for a year as well, was named body building . coms Amateur of the week. She is currently preparing for an NPC show on June 13th.

http://nattynutrition.com/Test...9_Leslie_Draper.html

Natty is now carrying Walden Farms products, which are a dieters friend. So if you are on our site looking for Bev products and need some Waldens products please check that out.

Natty will also be carrying Yohimbine HCL, Ive had numerous questions about where to get it, etc., and I believe in its fat burning properties so much (not to mention the ****** benefits) that Ive decided to offer it at our site. That will be happening soon.

I am now a certified Wellness and Nutrition Consultant with the American Fitness Professionals & Associates (AFPA). My wife, Stephaney, is working on hers now.

Speaking of Stephaney, due to our success, she will be working only part time now and working for Natty the other part of the time to expedite the ordering process and grow the business from the back end. However, she also does consults with non competitors looking to get into shape. She also realizes she loves the fitness lifestyle and helping others that she is going to be getting her personal training certification.

She will be training clients at Body Dynamics in Alexandria, KY and probably LA Fitness in Montgomery. She is very excited.

As always we will continue to stock the full line of Beverly products and recommend them to all our clients. I cant tell you how many people Ive turned on to their supplements through working with them. I think Sandy said word of mouth was a strong tool for Beverly and I can understand why.

Thats all for now.
