Hey all,
Here are a couple of pics from board member Aram Hamparian, Im just helping post them up. He is 11 wks out and already 4.4%, yep read that right. To top it off he can now officially compete in the 50 + Masters category. Just amazing. I believe he is making a comeback after about 3 + yr layoff from the stage if Im correct, if not Aram can correct that. As you can tell from the pics and his 60+ shows he is a wealth of knowledge. I should make it clear in NO WAY do I have anything to do with his conditioning (just posting some pics up for others motivation), just didnt want to confuse anyone. Aram does all his own diets, after 60 plus shows he obviously knows what he is doing. Good luck the rest of the way!

Jared you will be fine, Aram has actually competed in 84 and this will be his 85th show. The more you diet down the leaner you seem to be able to get each time. Think about doing what you are doing 84 times or more. |

J, I can't see it. It says "This image or video has been moved or deleted" by Photobucket. As much as Aram posts and the fact that he is 4.4 at 11 weeks out, I wanna see, I wanna see.

I dont know what happened, apparently jared can see it and I can see them right now, so setting on your alls comps must be doing something, Aram said he couldnt see them either.
Ill try to figure it out. I post on MD the same way and they always show up and I posed my pics in the Indy thread using this method, not sure. |

Jason, thank you for starting this thread.
Last week I partially tore my left medial delt muscle. Luckily it wasn't at any insertion point. Ice is my only remedy right now. However, all shoulder movements and incline chest exercises are out of the question. Amazingly enough, I am still able to do dips. So basically, from here on into my show (the PT recommended 6 weeks off from training Aram N. Hamparian NBI, USBF Pro Natural |

So those are the only three lifts you will be employing? The rest of the way?
How you splitting that out? PS: everyone else Aram is a modest fellow, the conditioning this far out is something to see, but I dont know why photobucket took them off, my Indy thread is still visible and I used the same method. J |

I would say 80-85% of my movements will be with those three exercises. I've never been one to do anything conventional when it comes to bodybuilding. From diet to training, I've done everything (well, almost) and have had success with most methods. For the past two years, due to unusual obligations with work, family, and volunteer work, my training schedule has been mostly three days per week. However the three days fall consecutively - SUN,MON,TUE. Three days on, four days off. My only other choice is to quit training outright, and since that is not an option I must make the best of things. Here is what I've been doing, generally: SUN Back, Bi's: Deadlifts, Chins, BB Row MON Chest,Delts,Tri's: Dips, Inc DB Press, Seated DB Press TUE Quads, Hams, Calves: Squats, Hack Squat, Leg Curl, DB RDL, Calf Raise Example of a recent Back workout: Deadlifts: 3 warmup sets 1x315x6 1x355x5 1x375x3 Weighted Chinups: 2x45x8,7 BB Rows: 2x225x8,6 Example of recent Leg workout: Squats: 3 warmup sets 4x275x8,8,6,6 Hack Squat: 2x6 plates x 6,6 DB RDL's: 1 warmup set 2x115x7,6 I put most of my emphasis on deadlifts and squats, as these are the exercises that will keep me in an anabolic environment. Volume is low, intensity high, full range motion. I also have GI issues for years, due to blowing a hole through my duodenum from years of drug and alcohol abuse. Although I've been clean and sober now for 25 years, damage was done. There are some days where eating whole foods become an impossibility. This is where Beverly's protein powders have been a lifesaver. It is not unusual for me to take in 8-10 scoops of Mass Maker, and 6-8 scoops of Muscle Provider per day. I never get any GI distress, and I am assured of supplementing with the best proteins available. Aram N. Hamparian NBI, USBF Pro Natural |

I wish I could have seen the pics of Aram at 11 weeks out.....I'll be lucky enough to be attending the show that he is competing in (October 25th)....so I can't wait for his return.
Aram - Best of luck as you hit the home stretch...I decided to skip this years show as I have too much going on with family/work right now...so I'll be a fan in the crowd |
