Does anyone know if natural diuretics are banned for OCB shows? Just wondering..... I have a show in 3 and a half weeks, I have never used any type of diuretic before, but wondering if natural was an option and if so what would I go with? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

To make sure you get an accurate answer, that is a question that needs to be asked to the show promotor or an official in the OCB. You should have the promotors contact info in your show/entry information.

Water and asparagus are good diuretics, but the greens...I'm not sure about. That can be a problem, so yes, try the dandelion root caps.

You should be good to go with any natural diuretic that you can find at a GNC. For the banned substance list go to www.sett2win.com or the www.theocbwebsite.com

Simple and tasty: need to lose excess water weight? I know for a fact that some pros use this method prior to contest day.

Parsley Tea has been known for a long time to assist in weight lost, primarily due to its diuretic properties. Basically this means that it helps to eliminate excess water weight in the body. Parsley tea is incredibly easy to make and is a great addition to any diet.

This is a natural option, and acceptable to all.

Not a diuretic really but I like the combo of grapefruit and ground beef. Eaten several times on the day before the show, it always seems to dry me out.

I agree 100% about the Lean ground beef and grapefruit, I do all 6 meals friday before a show with 6oz. of 93% Lean beef and half of Grapefruit, and allways gets me very dry!

Thanks for all the input from everyone. Had a show on October 24 - did the ground beef and grapefruit all day Friday and I came in in the best shape ever! I have another one this Saturday, so I am following the same protocol and looking forward to the results!
