Check out the
16 weeks out
and
8 weeks out articles in the archives.

Also check out newsletters that feature women.

If you are still in the dark post again.

What is your wife's weight, this will dictate the amounts of carbs, sodium, potassium, etc

I might suggest one more article for bt's wife, the Beth Simpson - Living Life to the Fullest article really inspired me. It is the one that made me decide to give Beverly supplements a try and do a 12 week pre-contest diet. It was in Volume VIII, Number 2 (and it is posted in my office here at work and a copy on my fridge, so that's why I had that info so handy!).

Now that I know I have the disclipline to do this, I'm going to actually compete next spring in a small contest. I was going to wait til I'm 40 and have a few more years of training under my belt, but then decided I might as well go for it now, and maybe by the time I'm 40 I'll have learned enough to win! Still not sure I'm brave enough to do the Kentucky one, but we'll see how the smaller one goes first.
