1. week of show drink 2-3 ga H2O
2. What carbs should I eat? Should I eat carbs during this week? If so what?

3. Do I need to stop drinking 2-3 ga of water and go down to 1 ga? If so what days?

4. What do I eat the night before the show? A

5. What do I eat the day of the show?

1-week out guide

I prepped one of my buddies and used this plan for his final week. It is a safe and easy way to approach your final week. Not to mention, this kid came in razor sharp! Also, you won't feel like trash in the days/weeks following the show, especially if you don't mess with the pottasium.

Still remember that these are guidlines and everyone is individual. For example, if you know for sure that you are particularly sensitive to carbs, make sure to keep a close eye on your body when you reintroduce them. In my experience, overeating carbs in the last week can hurt you much more than they will help you if you aren't careful. But then again, I am exremely carb sensitive.

ABSOLUTELY! I did that same thing. I don't believe I am overly carb sensitive but I tried a carbloading on Wednesday before the contest. It was to consume a sweet potato for each of six meals. BAD!

Is there a diet plan for the carb sensitive?
What would it look like?

Should I cease using creatine during this time?

Also. Most of these diets include grape fruit for breakfast. What is the significance of the grapefruit? Fiber? vitamins?

I am new at this ---and learning. Smile
thanks.

There's nothing set in stone for anyone. Like I said, keep a close eye on yourself and go by what you feel and what you already know about your body's ability to process different foods.

I think that creatine should be cut around 3-4 weeks before a contest, although different people will give you different opinions.

Grapefruit does provide some fibers, but it also acts as a natural diuretic, to help drive out some subcutaneous water. Aside from that, I don't know much, although I think it has some other benefits as well.
