How far out to start GH factor?

I'm 12 1/2 weeks out from this season's first comp. I've been dieting about 5 weeks and am down 14 lbs. I estimate I've got about 16 to go. My weight loss has slowed, but is continuing. Last season I used GH factor - 6 before bedtime and 6 upon waking in the morning.

How far out do you recommend I start taking GH Factor? Do I start now, or do I keep some 'eggs in the basket'?

BC,
Down 14 lbs in 5 weeks? Wow, great inspiration for our members and guests! I predict a great contest year for you. No question. Can you use GH F now and still have eggs left over? Oh yeah, here's how I like to do it:

At 10 weeks out (this works great for the guys also) I use 4 GH F with my Muscle Synergy before training, and take another 8 GH F during.
I do this for 2 weeks. The next 2 weeks I use 4 GH F during and 8 after training with my PWO shake which should include some carbs. The GH F will assist in pushing more glycogen into the muscle.

I then take 2 weeks off.

The final 4 weeks I suggest 6 GH F upon awakening and 6 before bed the first week. Weeks 2 + 3 I like to take 2 GH F prior to each of my 6-7 meals, The final week I switch over to what I did the first week.

This method allows the possibility for different pulses of GH throughout the day, setting you up for more optimal fat burning effects.

A

Awesome! Thanks Aram.

I don't know how much of an inspiration I should be - just means a fattened up too much in my off season. Eek

I've been training with Mike Davies since December - he's put about 7 lbs of lean mass on me since last year and he's 'ATTEMPTING' to lean out my fat booty! My goal is just to be better than last year! I'm forcing myself to be better, as I've picked higher caliber shows - and OCB show and an NGA show.

Thanks for your help! And, as always, I'm thankful for any words of wisdom you may have!

Biker Chick-

Wow great acheivments! You should be proud! Keep up the GREAT work!

Rachel just started me on GH factor (12 weeks out) instead of 7-Keto (banned in the org. I want to compete in). I have never tried it before... Heard lots of good things though!

Good luck with the shows! Let us know how it goes.

Aram,
you have listed in detail all of the detailed ways of taking GH factor down to the last week, but what about on the days you don'r workout?? How should you take the GH Factor on your OFF days??

Craig,

On OFF days what I do (and recommend to clients) is take 6 GH Factor with 1 scoop of Creatine Select in the morning after wakeup. In the evening before bed I would take 6 more GHF with Bev's ZMA. Closer to the show, 4 weeks out or so, I'd even pop 6-8 Muscle Synergy at night with this combo. The arginine/lysine will greatly improve creatine transport, pushing more creatine where we want it... in the MUSCLE.

If you really want to push it (and maybe go broke at the same time) combine GHF and Creatine before and after training with Muscle Synergy. The pumps will be crazy. I love doing this on Intensity/leg day for some extra capillary intrusion. Not that you have to be concerned with leg mass, but for the competitor with average quads, losing leg mass will no longer be an issue, while getting them cut up to new dimensions. WARNING: The diet's gotta be real good and clean though!! Smile

I need to find out the answer guys, I need to find out as much info regarding GH factor use from you all. I am planning on using GH factor to see if I can increase a little more lean mass on this 48 yr. frame because I seemed to respond very well to any supplements that my stomach can take. Let me know because you are the tried and true experts.

Huh??? Confused Confused

Umm... don't mind Craig everybody. He's been on 30 grams of carbs a day now for the past 5 years.

Hey Craig, go have a banana or a sweet potato or something, and get back to us when you're feelin better pal.

Craig,

If I were on 75-100gr of carbs a day, I'd turn into one of those pencils you keep score with when playing miniature golf. Big Grin

My "WARNING" was a disclaimer of sorts to emphasize to people that supplements will be of no use if the diet is not exceptional. However, with a great nutritional plan, Beverly supplements will work better than anything else out there. They become 3x more potent. People neglect the nutrition, take many different supplements, and end up nowhere. To give a more extreme example, I overheard these two guys in the lockerroom the other day describing their "cycles". They have been using gear for years, yet if you were to look at them, their physiques suck!!. What do they do after they finish training?? They shoot straight over to Mickey D's!!
