I am new to the contest thing, first one approaching in 4 weeks, and I hate to admit but I still have some cellulite on the back of my legs, is it possible to loose in 4 weeks or am I doomed, I want to add cardio (already doing 45 min a day)but I am very lean everywhere else? Any advice or should I drop out? I refuse to step on stage with this. My rep range is 12-15 and doing legs twice a week. | ||

Hi Mrs. D. Welcome to the board. I wouldn’t back out on your goal date yet. You can still make changes in 3-4 weeks. Work like crazy for the next few weeks. If you don’t feel comfortable with where you are, pick another show to shoot for. You’re doing the right thing by training legs twice a week. There is a perfect workout at http://www.bodybuildingworld.c...your_fit_figure.html that hits every body part twice a week. For cardio, each week that you don't lose about a pound of fat, increase your calories burned by about 10% the next week. Focus on sprints, incline treadmill (squeezing hamstrings and glutes on each stride) and step mill for cardio. These are exercises that seem to help with leg and glute tightening. Another thing to do is add in some old fashioned leg lifts and glute squeezes a few nights a week before bed. I would do 4-5 sets of 25 or so. Keep adding reps/sets as they get easier.
