Alright... I want to do the Northern this March but man I am far far far from being any where need stage shape. From today the show is 147 days out. I would guess I am maybe 13% BF right now... is it possible to get in contest shape in this time frame or is it a lost cause? I know Beverly can work wonders but I am going to be a huge challenge

Shorty--

You have plenty of time being at 13% to do the show. The Northern is 4.5 mos away roughly.

When I got ready for the Battle last year I saw Jeremiah at 10 weeks out, or only 2.5 mos, weighing 168 at 12.5%. I was in decent condition at that show and took second. I dieted two more weeks for the Cincinnati and was in my best so far. Could be better, but...

With 4.5 mos to go you do have the time for sure and can do it with much less cardio than I did. If you want to do it, youve got the time, just contact bev and get on a precontest diet. Personally Id work on getting myself to 10% by Dec. 1 and then kick it into 100% no cheating. But that was my goal if I was going to do it, but Ive decided against it. Good luck,

Jason--

thanks Jason....
I will work towards getting to or below 10% by dec 1st. 13% is a ruff guess of my bodyfat but none the less I am going to work towards my goal and do the best I can.

Shorty...Just to give you another gauge. Preparing for the show I did 2 weeks ago, at the 12 week point, I was at 8% - I came in around 4.3%.

My advice - Do it slow, let the diet do it's thing, better to be ready early than have to really push the last few weeks.

Dude, you're at 21 weeks, you got time. I started my "official" no cheat contest diet at 16 weeks. That was perfect for me, I don't think I started cardio until about 8 weeks, and I only did 5 cardio sessions per week all the way up to the show.

We're all different though, check with your Bev Advisor if you are using one.

Dwayne
