I started dieting May 20 for it. Yep 10 days ago for a June 7th show. Wanted to see how quickly I could tighten up. Im at day 10 of dieting and already dropped over 4.5 lbs of fat. Should hit my goal of 6lbs of fat lost in less than 20 days....might even be more fat. So far only lost about .5 lean mass if that according to calipers..
I wont be my best, but I wanted to try a few things that will be beneficial for my Team U prep later this summer....in terms of diet, supps and cardio--and peak week....documenting my experience.
BTW, yes the rear double bi is way off, I was leaning, it will be corrected, I dont normally pose that way.
This was taken two weeks into the diet, I only ended up getting 16 full days to diet for this show, Im now carbing up and drying out, we'll see how it turns out. Wont be my best, but i wanted to test a few things and this conditioning is enough for the test run. Was weighing in at 141 here, hopefully Ill still make weight after my carb up, 930 on Weds, 630 today, and 400 tomorrow.....1 gallon, 1/2 gallong, 1/4 gallon, salt back in Friday night along with fats....
Looks great J! At 141, you look a lot bigger than that and that is a big deal for someone in that weight class. You should have no problem winning your weight class and a good shot at the overall too. Chances are, you will still be one of the best, if not, THE best conditioned at that show.

I believe my chest has improved to some degree, unfortunately I have bad tie ins for chest, my other muscle bellies are decent, but the **** pecs go ****** to armpit in a fairly straight line, so all I can do is build what I got...but ive made them thicker by training them twice per week, thats the only bodypart for now that I do that with.

I appreciate it, but actually there are some really good heavies and superheavies coming to this show who are looking for their qualification and then on to the JR Nationals, so what Ive seen over at MD, there will be quite a few VERY conditioned guys doing this show, I suspect the final lineup will look pretty good.
Ill post back if I get some shots from my carb up and drying out process, 12 meals down already today, 6 more to go to get to 630 grams of carbs for the day.
Tomorrow is rice cakes and natty pb all day long with a meal at Outback along with cheesecake I cant wait

Yeah that shoulder thing is too bad, but heal up and we'll get you ready for the Mash. Just dont go getting too out of shape. I hope you have halved the carb intake for now.
... Did you say Cheesecake!!??? That is the CB's kryptonite! Lucky you J! That you can carb up on cheesecake is rediculous. The only thing cheescake ever does for me is the gift of GAS... which is actually a pretty good gift and pretty commical, but I would rather be able to have it to carb up!

Chunky you could use something else, what you are looking for there are two things....sodium reintroduction after drying out and large influx of fats....I also have a filet mignon (contrary to belief a very fatty meat) with white potato and a glass of white wine, after this meal everything comes together, its the final piece. Then in morning no water but a little more sodium from pancakes about 120 grams carbs from 4 of them.....then its almost ready to rock...before stage I put the water back in about 30 mins prior along with Density, Synergy, GH and start to bite on snickers, I get so pumped that I have to watch it or I wont be able to hit my side tricep properly....good stuff.

Not peeled like you were in those pics you shared, but I didnt expect it in 14 days of dieting, lol. As far as contributing I do what I can. Part of this prep is to better my understanding of my dieting techniques, I tweaked a few things and I think they were nice things to learn about. Always got to keep learning and trying new things...
Your water tapering strategy is going to be the deciding factor. How well the infusion of carbs reacts to the overall dynamics. Overall, I'd say you will nail it. When people, especially natty's, carb load to your extremes and follow it up with insane amounts of water, this is where they fail. Your physique is already beyond pro caliber. Saturday you should be a lot dryer and vascular, especially just prior to going onstage. I don't need to wait for the outcome of the show. I want to congratulate you in advance fella.
Stay confident!

That means a lot coming from you. I appreciate it. Yeah with my carb loading I taper water, today is only 1/4 gallon all day with salt free rice cakes and 2 tbs of natty pb 8 x, then my Outback meal for sodium and fat, filet/cheesecake, etc. After the 1/4 gallon is gone I drink no more until 30 min prior to stage time. I woke up looking pretty dry and big this morning, Im right on schedule, today will actually flatten me a bit before I add in some of the final pieces tonight, sodium and a huge fat load.
Mark, Ill take in 10-12 oz gatorade at that time, sometimes less I start with sips and my dynabands and see how I feel and look, I know its enough when i can get a really good pump going.
