i used an airbrush tan last year and wasn't to pleased i plan on using pro tan this year but i have a few questions 1. how far will a 4 oz bottle get you (if i use 4 coats how many bottle should i buy) 2. how may coats should i use to get a nice deep tan. and should i use muscle sheen or dream tan. so many possibilities id appreciate you help thanks a lot tommy
i also had 1 more question for those of you who read this i am doin the nortern kentucky and i want to do another show but i cant find any other shows within a week or two after dows ony one know of any thanks a lot i dont care what sanction. or if they are tested or not let me know thanks
Id say buy two bottle of ProTan and apply it with a sponge, not that bs applicator they give you. Id start Weds night, go to bed, rinse in morning. Another coat Thurs rinse in morning. Two coats Friday starting after work, do not rinse, reapply. Rinse in morning. Could do a morning coat if necessary, eat relax and rinse. No soap, just rinsing.
Dream Tan is your call. Its messy and nasty, but it does help really darken you up. I think there might be something similar but better these days, not so makeup like. See if anyone can add to this. If not go with DreamTan especially if you are fair skinned. Apply before getting there or out in the parking lot, cant use it in building.
Hope that helped some.

The Cincinnati is actually the week before the Northern this year (March 12), as far as I know there is no Battle of Champions this year, didn't see it on any contest schedule yet.
Hey RyPat, did you compete at the Cincinnati? How did the open weight classes look? I didn't make it down there, but thought you were looking to compete there. Are you doing the N. Kentucky this weekend?
I placed 5th in the juniors. Not bad, but all these tests before spring break gave me next to 0 time to practice my conditiong, so I'm a little disappointed. I will be at the northern, I'm hoping to do much better there.
the open classes looked pretty good, but they seemd a little smaller on the whole than they were at the northern last year. Still there were some very good competitors; and i think its safe to assume alot of them will do the northern as well.
Hey RyPat, I heard they were gonna have a welter-weight class this year (over 154.25lbs up to and including 165.25lbs) at the Northern? Do you know if this is true? It helps break up the 20lb gap in middleweight and would help out some of the lighter competitors. How did the middleweight class look in Cincinnati? A guy from our gym is supposed to do the Northern, I think he would be a welter-weight if they have that class, if not then he'll have to be a middle. Good luck this weekend, I'm sure you'll do just fine. In regards to your color in the other thread, how many coats of protan did you use?
That's cool then. Tommy are you competing too? What weight class are you in? I'll let my buddy know that they're having the weight class, he'll be relieved.
the welter weight is indeed true. the middleweight class had some strong competitors, i can't remember any of their names off the top of my head, but as always there are those that stand out. I used 4 coats of pro-tan, last year i used 5, but w/ school crazy this year my friend (nor I) had time friday morning to put a coat one so i missed that one.
This time I'm definetly going to use the 5 coats, and get 1 of them sprayed on by a lady the night before or morning of the show.
