OOOhh boy...I can handle this, haha muscle goo is key!! I have always used creamy skippy peanutbutter with its rich and smooth punch..along with a nice heaping scoop of chocolate muscle provider to give a protien packed fudge taste, and then I get crazy with the honey as I will look for this to give me a nice carb up and a good sugar fix. * The amount of peanut butter and honey is up to you, but the consistancy is dependent on the amount of honey I think.. To put the icing on the cake I prepare the goo in a container I can pack for the show and throw it into the frindge over night or at least a few hours. This brings out the flavors and creates a nice fundge. I have been known to use this as a cheat meat, which in reality is packed with goodness!!! haha hope that helps..any additional questions I am all ears. | |||

Yeah, you can use really any amounts to get the consistency you want. If you want to do it "textbook" though, you use equal amounts of each. i.e. 2 scoops US or MP 2 scoops PB (~1/2 cup) 2 scoops honey (~1/2 cup) | |||

Ron, findout what is going to work well for you. I say mix higher amounts of honey if you notice the vascularity difference when carbing up. I preferred 20%US:50%PB:30%Honey. If you add too much honey, WOAH! Too much. There really is no set standard. IT'S GOOD NO MATTER HOW IT'S MIXED!!! Frank Frank "Lift and be happy. Questions about the goo. At what point do you start taking the goo, before hitting stage?? 30 mins?, and at what intervals? can you use a snickers bar and the goo or is it one or the other? Train hard or Go home! | |||

I would begin 45 minutes because the protein and fats will be slow digesting and will slow down the honey as well. If the snickers worked for you 10 min before stage time, then by all means, don't change that. As for Muscle Synergy. NICE PUMP! 12-24 before pump up. Just depends how much you can handle. Always remember pump up just enough but not too much to blur your definition. Frank | |||

I skipped the goo this year. It lead to gross over eating of PB and honey. I had great results with synergy, lots of energy reserve, glutamine select and creatine select with a snickers....looking back I am not sure the snickers was even necessary. Synergy, worked good for me. Just competed a couple of weeks ago and took about 20-25 about 20 min prior to hitting the stage, and also did a cocktail of 6oz. grape juice, 1 tsp. salt, and 2 scoops of G.S. and kept me dry, tight, and pumped... It took me to two first place class wins. Go for it. | |||
