Are there any problems with using UMP and/or Mp during the final four weeks? I am able to get most of my whole food meals in, but I find I sometimes have to rely on a shake. Also, can a post workout shake be added during the final four weeks without compromising the effectiveness of the diet. I am four weeks out and very near contest condition and don't want to lose any lean mass. Thanks for any advice from this boards experts, you guys are a wealth of info.

Both products are fine precontest.

The MP might be the preferred choice...but both are fine.

If your diet does not call for a post workout shake or you are not moving one of your meals to post work out, I would not add it.

If you are really lean it might not hurt to add the shake...but that really does depend on how lean you are and how many weeks you have left.

Either of those proteins are perfectly fine to use right up to and including the day of a show. Our products are the only brand made specifically for competitors. That's what they're there for, so use away. Yes that's a general rule of thumb to cut out protein powders precontest, but that only applies to the poor guys who aren't using Beverly. And if your protein powder isn't good enough to use at the end, why would someone think it's good enough to use in the beginning -but that's a whole other story.
Mark Ritter got sick before a show once and couldn't eat any whole food the last four days. ALL of his meals were Muscle Provider and he looked the best he ever looked. I'm certainly not recommending this but that's just an example to prove my point.

Thanks, I have always avoided other protein powders during final contest prep but am glad to learn that Beverly products are of a quality that will not hinder my final prep.
