Cranberry Sauce
1 bag cranberries 1 1/2 cups Sugar-Free Raspberry Davinci Syrup (www.davincigourmet.com) zest of 1 orange a few drops of liquid Stevia (optional) Bring syrup to boil. Add in cranberries and again bring to boil. Reduce to simmer and cover. As the cranberries pop use a slotted spoon to mash. Once all the canberries have popped and been mashed add zest of orange. Remove from heat and bring to room temp. Refrigerate. Serve over turkey, chicken, in oats, whatever. It should have the consistency of jelly. ***I put a few drops of Stevia in it to make it sweeter -- mixing sugar substitutes (Splenda & Stevia) has a synergistic effect. |
