UMP COOKIES AND CREME PIE

Beverly's proteins are more than just an excellent source of protein consumed in a glass of liquid.
Our proteins can actually be a sweet treat.

I made a pie out of the new UMP and Ultra Size.

First of all, you can make pie crust with Ultra Size.

I took 3 scoops of vanilla Ultra Size, 1 tsp of safflower oil and water for consistency. Baked it for about 5 minutes at 350 degrees.

I then let it cool in the refrigerator while I mixed 2 servings of UMP Cookies and Creme with 1/2 a box (small) of Fat Free, Sugar Free white chocolate pudding mix (approx. 50 calories in half a box) and water.

I spooned it into the crust and let it chill and topped it with a thin layer of fat free cool whip.

Results: The crust was flaky, the pie was nice and firm and the cool whip offered the perfect touch.

Hi Gym Dude

You can use Vanilla or Chocolate. All three flavors are very easy to work with when it comes to creating a pie. Let me know how it turns out. Lana

Lana,

How about a UMP cookie recipe? That pie sounds excellent but I am more of a cookie guy, I would be eternally grateful (if you have a cookie recipe) if you would share it. Thanks.

Ultimate Muscle Protein is great for puddings, ice cream, parfaits and thick shakes. It gels very well. However, the UMP doesn't cook as well as the Ultra Size. I made some cookies with the UMP Chocolate and found the cookies to be a little gooey in the middle. They tasted fine but the texture wasn't a true cookie texture.

UMP would make a great parfait. Just layer UMP with fatfree Cool Whip, you could also use fat free sugar free instant pudding to give it a different flavor, layer with strawberries or blueberries. This is quite a treat!

Make a UMP Vanilla, Strawberry, Heavy cream shake. This is an incredible treat. (try freezing for an ice cream affect)

Please share your ideas of how to use the UMP. We are working on a recipe book and would love to share your recipes with others.
