This has been a staple in my pre-contest diet.... they taste so good I could probably sell them. From what I can remember this tastes just like a "Big Mac" minus the sesame seed bun.
Brown desired amount of lean ground beef in a pan and season with whatever you use to make pre-contest fare taste good (I use original Mrs. Dash, and some seasoned salt) Serve the cooked ground beef over a fresh bed of lettuce. Top off with 2 TBS mustard and dill relish. Last but not least, top with 2 TBS of the "special sauce." Tom and Vanessa brought this miracle dressing to my attention....Walden Farm's Thousand Island Dressing (the sugar-free/fat-free version).
Ahhhh yes what I call the "Big Mac" Salad! I make it almost the same except I add a touch of Walden Farms ketchup as well. If you like the 1000 Island dressing -- try this one.....
Albacore Tuna Flax or Olive Oil 1000 Island Dressing Dill Pickle Relish And a bed of romaime lettuce.
