kool aid and MP

Unfortunately, i do not like the taste of vanilla MP, so i'm always looking for ways to hide its flavor. First, i used syrups from da vinci gourmet which work well, but i wanted more options.

When i was a child, i drank plenty of kool aid with tons of sugar. I'm sure many of you can relate. Anyway, the kool aid itself comes in unsweetened little packets. If one looks at the nutrition profile, all of the flavors have absolutely zero macronutrients. Some flavors may have a little sodium. I decided to add a little unsweetened kool aid to my MP/100% egg shakes.

My first shake was waaay too strong because i used 1/2 of the packet. I quickly learned i only need to sprinkle a very small amount of the kool aid to dramatically alter the flavor of the shake. Depending on the flavor, a packet of kool aid will last between 3-6 shakes.

Try it for yourself. I had black cherry this morning, pink lemonade and kiwi-watermelon yesterday.

Fitdoc,

You and I have the same idea about MP. I was using different sugar-free pudding mixes. Now and then, a great summer treat is mixing in the full bag of SF Jello with MP then letting it set over night. It has to be stirred about every 20 to 30 minutes until it begins to thicken.

My problem with crystal lite is that it contains aspartame.

The sugar free puddings are great if you are looking for a different way to use the proteins. Try 3 scoops of Ultra Size Vanilla, sugar free-fat free white chocolate pudding, and water to make a thick pudding. Cut up the strawberries and canteloupe. This makes a great fruit dip.
