Another idea for chicken! I love this one.. ~1-2 cups of shredded chicken *(I make my chicken in a crock pot--details below) ~1/2 cup oats ~2 egg whites ~sea salt, pepper, onion powder to taste 1. Combine all ingredients in bowl (mix well) 2. Using a pam sprayed skillet, pour the mixture onto the hot pan. About the size of a regular patty.. 3. Cook on low-medium heat for 10-12 minutes, then flip, and cook for an additional 10 minutes, or until desired cooking is reached (I like mine a bit well done) *Makes 4 patties. ENJOY! I usually eat 2 patties as one meal with veggies on the side. But keep in mind I am a 110lb small framed female =) The fellas would definitely need more. TO MAKE CHICKEN**I get a whole package of fresh chicken breasts and trim the fat. Put them all in a large crock pot combined with chopped onions and chopped fresh green chile (optional). No oils or seasonings other than sea salt and pepper if desired. A little garlic is great too. Let it cook over night- about 8-10 hours. The chicken is very tender by morning..so tender that it is easy to shred up with a spoon. This message has been edited. Last edited by: SWade, | ||
