Hello everyone,

Lately I have been craving sweets before I go to bed but I have resisted.

If you had to choose a healthy, but sweet, recipe before you went down for the night what would that be?

Please share the recipe.

Thanks,
Steve

I mix Ultra Size or UMP in fat free/sugar free instant pudding. To up the protien content use liquid egg whites. It rocks.

An old favorite that I just made the other day for the first time in about 2 years.

Muscle Cake

Ingredients

2 scoops Ultra size (Haven't tried UMP yet but will this week)

1/2-1 cup oats

1 egg+ 2 egg whites (can use all egg whites/eggbeaters if need be)

2 tsp baking powder

about 1 cup water (enough to give it a brownie batter consistency)

1/2-1 cup splenda

Cinnamon

2 tsp salt

Mix well and put in bread pan or muffin pan.

Bake @ 350 for 15-25 mins.

Top with spray butter, pb, sf jelly etc...

I have so many favorite "sweet" Beverly recipes for before bed. Right now my personal favorite is 2 scoops of UMP Vanilla protein + 1 TBS cashew butter mixed in enough water to make a pudding. Sometimes I even top it with 1-2 TBS Cool Whip.

This is a super bedtime snack not only because it tastes so good, but because UMP gives both an immediate rush of aminos and an extended release affect that feeds my muscles aminos all through the night.

Can’t beat that…a tasty snack that keeps my muscles fed while I sleep.

1 cup FF/Lowfat Cottage Cheese
1 scoop chocolate protein powder(MP/UMP/US)
1/3 packet FF/SF cheesecake pudding mix
1-2 tbsp. Nat. Peanut Butter
A bit of extra water to loosen up ingredients while mixing.

Thank me later...seriously.

So I can't wait to try this recipe...but I have never heard of cheescake pudding mix. (I have never really looked for it either) Is it sold at wal-mart or kroger?

I get some of my favorite decaf hot tea by celestial seasons (chai, blueberry) and add about a 1/2 scoop of vanilla UMP that has been blended with water until it is a milky consistency. Then add some splenda. I feel like I am drinking starbucks chai tea latte again!
