Nothing exciting but I cook my Chicken and then lay the Beans on the top and sprinkle a very very lite coat of shredded cheese
on top with a dash of Onion Powder or Onion Salt. Yum.

I like to add some Mrs. Dash (especially the Southwestern Chipolte and some red wine vinegar). Another "favorite" is some
shoyu (soy sauce) and a little sprinkle of garlic and ginget.

I would also like some input on the green beans, since they are the only vege that my school steams and allows you to bring
back to your room in containers. I usually microwave them with some lemmon juice, then sprinkle some mrs. dash on them.
She can make anything tasty, a true godsend.
just remember to rinse very well with cold water. Helps take the can taste out of them .You can then cook on stove top with
salt free beef bouillon cubes. After you put on plate you can spray with fat free butter spray or use Smart Balance.
original
ideas of what you can do with a can of green beans?
Sometimes I'm torn between a nine iron and a driver.
I
HATE fresh green beans. When I bite into them, it's like scratching your nails on the chalk board.
I add about a cup
of water, then throw them into my Bass-O-Matic. Take the remains and boil it with the boulion cubes. That's the only way I
can handle them. Otherwise, I'll go for the canned, even though they've lost a lot of nutrients.
Another thing I do
with them is add half a can of tomato soup mixed in with the blended, chopped up...schtuff.

Yes. 1) Throw away the can of beans and buy fresh ones. Canned beans are gross! Even frozen taste so much better.
Steam
then and add a bit of toasted chopped slivered almonds and a touch of butter if your fat budget allows for this. The slivered
almonds - should be enough with just 3 or 4 if you chop them fine so virtually no cals added. The butter -eh, not so necessary.
2)
Add a dash of salt, pepper and sesame oil for Asian flair
Snapped green beans simmered for several hours with beef cubes, I usually use about 5-cubes, and dehydrated onions. Let the
simmer at least 5-hours if they are freshly snapped beans. Drain and serve. Good one for the crockpot.
I like to drain most of the water out and add chicken broth, red pepper flakes, salt & pepper. I had this last night and it
was fantasitc! Sometimes I do the same thing but for the spices add Greek seasoning. If you ever use frozen or fresh
green beans and good oil is on your diet, add a little olive oil and Greek seasoning and cook until just tender, yummy!
