I agree! I was a skeptic of this product from an incredibly cheesey infomercial, but it's my favorite piece in my kitchen!

Hey guys. Thanks for the low-down on this product.
I've watched the commercial about 100 times over the past couple of years. I always think about buying it, but think it's probably too good to be true. I may just check it out now. Rachel Wade Beverly International |

Totally! This thing is the real deal. I gotta get one too! A good buddy of mine uses it to make his morning oatmeal and egg white pancakes, and it comes out FLAWLESS! He puts in regular oatmeal and blends it up into a flour like consistancy, which comes out looking exactly like whole wheat flour, and then throws in water and egg whites... BAM! Perfect breakfast and FAST! I think I will order ..... I think I'll send 39.95 to Sue.

Blender? What's a blender??? Seriously, I have been using a Magic Bullet for about 4 years now. I cannot imagine life without it. I take it with me on vacation because I don't want to be without it and I know this isn't the recipe board but speaking of pancakes, I'd love to share my perfected protein pancake recipe with all of you....using the magic bullet of course and Vanilla UMP.
Oats - 10grams UMP - 15grams egg whites - 92grams (optional but so yummy) banana - 25grams You can double or triple the recipe and add more oats if you need to. I've also made them using 100% pure pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice and they are delicious and full of fiber. Try blueberries or strawberries or apples as well. |

Thanks for posting!
I too have watched the infomercials for years. I hate using the bulky blender. I will have to get one now! Anything to simplify will help. Leslie |

Hey, Bullet Users! I have always heard that while the Magic Bullet mixes well it has a tough time crushing ice. That is one reason I am still struggling --- and hating --- with a bulky blender. What has been your experience?

I use crushed ice to start with. It definitely deos not do the best job of crushing ice, however, if you use frozen berries or frozen whatever, it will crush that nicely. I would say that there are more pros than cons withthe bullet and don't let that one issue stop you from getting it. JMHO

I absolutely LOVE the magic bullet!
I really haven't had any problems with it crushing ice. In fact it really helped keep me some-what sane during competition dieting. My diet was extremely rigid- no protein powders or fruit of any kind. Really the only vice I was allowed was Crystal Light. So I'd make slushies almost every day. Just fill the Magic bullet almost to the top with ice, add about 2-3 tsp of Crystal Light and just a little water...only enough to get the ice moving. Blend for a while and shake the cup until it's just right. Off season I also make a fake ice-cream basically the same way except I add in a scoop or 2 of protein powder, (vanilla UMP with frozen strawberries is GREAT) fill to the top with ice and if your diet permits a little frozen fruit, just a little skim milk or heavy cream. Keep blending and shaking util you almost get the consistency of a Frosty. If you want it frozen more just put it in the freezer for about 30 min (just be sure to stir it every 10 min or so. Definitely worth the $$$ _________________________ "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13 website under construction www.the1on1fitnessstudio.com |

My favorite Magic Bullet recipe:
2 Scoops Chocolate MP 1/2 C (approx) crushed ice (it comes out of my fridge in cubes or crushed, so it helps my bullet out) 1 T. sugar free caramel 6-8 oz water Blend til smooth like a milkshake. Drizzle with sugar free chocolate syrup or cool whip for extra yumminess. ~ Rachel J. ~ |

Nothing compares to a VitaMix.
My VM crushes whole ice, frozen fruit, whatever and will last forever. Got mine in 2002 when I first started w/BI and needed something strong enough for the protein drinks. A bit pricey, but better than returning the cheaper blenders to the store every 3 months due to weaker blades and design. |
