Hey Joey, Fat on the thighs simply means that's where you're storing fat. Continue with the cardio, just do both types, slow paced walk on an incline, let's say AM, then do running in the PM. The slow pace walking is fat burning whereas the higher paced endurance type running can be catabolic (depending on caloric intake durinng),which is taking the size from your muscles. Stay away from lifting with the legs. You should also try body building poses and hold them for 15 seconds to begin. Posing can help bring out definition and that will also make you look leaner, tighter and the much sought after, TONED. Do the same with legs. Flex, lock in the pose and shift around while holding until you see different muscles "appearing". Then you learn how to manipulate your posing. Talk about calorie burninng!!

I think you need to preserve what tissue you do have so id still lift my legs, if you are in a caloric deficit you wont add muscle, but in order to "tone" you need to keep what you have and strip the fat, if you lose fat and muscle you'll just be a skinnier version of what you are now. I for one would lift the legs BUT eat so that Im in a caloric deficit.

Ah, good point. But Jason, what we are working with here it totally opposite of everything we believe and train. Joey, what's your daily calorie intake? Is this just a temporary thing (trimming down) or is this going to be your way of life and about where you will stay as far as weight?

Yeppers Frank...Im just thinking if he doesnt do some weight resistance training he wont ever "tone". Im not a big fan of that word anyways...but really he is still doing (sort of) what we bodybuilders do, we perform calculated starvation in order to preseve muscle and lose fat when contest dieting, off season forget this noise, lol. He doesnt want to get bigger but wants to lose the fat, I think he needs severe caloric restriction but still some weight training to preserve the leg muscle he has, cant tone what isnt there.... Without proper calories he wont get any bigger unless he has superior touch any weight eat fruit roll ups get big genetics, which it doesnt sound from his previous weight.
