I have been working out for 3 years. I am so happy with the progress that I have made. When I started working out I was 4 pounds under weight, since then I have been able to almost put on 35 pounds. I have recently became obsessed with wanting to compete. I put together a 16 week program I have had nothing but problems and conflict after conflict in my life. The past month has been the most difficult month in my life as far as working out is concerned. I can not get a good week of training or a good week of consistent dieting. Has any one else ever experienced a problem like this when they first started?

the problems can happen to anyone at anytime. i had found out my brother had a brain tumor 4 weeks before i was competing in jr nationals this year. very hard to focus. all i can say is prioritize what is important in your life and take care of it. good luck
