Here's a link I found on previous discussions for glute/ham work:

I want to work on that area and my mid-lower back
Does anyone have any other workouts for these areas?(Joe-I was told you may have some unique ideas)

I do the traditional DL, hyperextensions, curls, hack, leg press, squat etc...
Oh- when doing leg curls(I do single curls usually), I bring my foot all the way to glutes(touching) and hold before releasing. These are good, I've found I have to use lighter weight than if I didn't hold at the top.

stiff leg deads with external rotation of femur single leg supported squats non lockout. stomach and hip on swiss ball hold onto bench and contract glutes like your swimmimg until you cant go any more. mother nature.

Ok, I'll try. The swiss ball would be a good blast at end of my workout.
Another one is a push down on the pull up machine. One foot stationary, one on the pad and push down.

Joe is the BEST when it comes to training - he obviously knows how to hit EVERY muscle (have you seen his pics??), plus he's fantastic at explaining and teaching it to others!

Check out this website:

This is Charles Glass training Jenny Lynn with emphasis on glute/ham and VMO (tear drop). Good workout for figure girls!

For some reason, I think this thread had something to do with my binge, this morning. It sounded like a delicacy. Big Grin Glute/Ham and eggs, lots of 'em.

LOL Frank! LMAO.

Ript-thanks for the video. I'm gonna incorporate some of that into my training.

Any suggestions on doing the reverse hack when there is no hack squat equipment? It may be possible on the smith machine? Don't want to hurt myself though.

While that seemed quite a clever move, it seems more like an old lift, "good morning"

http://exrx.net/WeightExercise...s/BBGoodMorning.html

This is with a barbell. Lighter weight can be clutching a disk or plate to your chest.
