hey everyone,
first i would like to give a huge thanks to everyone here, especially Jtheo and Frank for answering my questions. I havent been competeing for long and just want to soak up as much info as possible. My next question was what kind of precontest workout split seems most effictive.
once again thanks.

It has been my experience to just continue with the weights being heavy and alternate rep sequences doing 3 on 1 off. First part of the week, heavy, lower reps 6-8, the second set of 3 on 1 off, higher reps of 12 to 15, more intense, less rest between sets, even doing drop sets/supersets.

Mostly barbell/Dumb bell
Day One: Chest/shoulders. Shoulder work is push, Triceps
Day Two: Legs: Heavy Squats, Leg press
Day Three: Back/Shoulders (pull exercises) Biceps

Day One: Chest/Shoulders More cable/machine
Day Two: Legs, Legpress, Lunges, leg extensions/hamcurls
Day Three: Back, Machines/cables

No problem Justin.

I train no different than when not pre contest. I continue to train hard and do 2 on, 1 off, 2 on and rest on the weekends, two off. This works great for a natural. Allows me to rest and recoop and not get overtrained. I was PR'ing until the last 2-3 weeks for my Northern Prep, but my diet and cardio allowed such.

haha, my bad, I just assumed by the age and the use of "comp" that it was a double play on words.

I helped Justin dry out and load for the Cincinnati, thought it was him.

What shows have you dont yourself and when is the next?
