can too much cardio be bad?i've been doing an hour a day 6 days is this too much if so what would be a good amount for someone wanting to add muscle but keep abs tight thanks

Without knowing your diet, personal stats, weight training, I would never recommend anyone begin with 6 days of cardio with that amount of volume. Cardio should be seeded in gradually once the diet begins to stall the fat loss. That is WAY too much and it will definitely prevent you from attaining your goal.

right now i'm doing the diet from beverly comp manuel for gain muscle lose fat but was thinking of switching to the max fat lose diet.I'm afraid of the carb load days lol.i lift weights 6 days doing every body part 2x aweek plus the cardio.what would be a good cardio program i am 5'9 and 140 (recently gained about 13 lbs not happy about)i have a hard time putting on muscle and seem to hold alot of my weight in my stomach thanks 4 your help

I would recommend starting with ZERO cardio. Especially if you are training with weights 6 days per week. I don't know your specific diet, calories, macro's, etc., but adding cardio to diet that is in deficit to your energy expenditures would be highly catabolic.
