A few weeks ago I strained my knee (on the outside of my right knee), doing squats, I pushed it just a little too hard. Anyway took a week off legs, then went with high rep squats the next week (315 for 3 sets of 20 instead of my normal 5x5). That didn't bother my knee all that much, but then this week I went back to relatively heavy weights again for sets of 7, and lo and behold my knee is hurting again. It doesn't hurt during my sets only after. This is the only time my knees have hurt, so I'm looking for some advice. I want to finish out this 7/70 program. I'm in the last 5x5 cycle. But definitely don't want to hurt my knee any further. -Bill "Research your own experience, absorb what is useful, reject what is useless, add what is specifically your own." - Bruce Lee

Hey Bill, I think you're needing to drop back for a bit. Remember the post about, "Bone Repair"? Go for the Vit. C! You're probably needing to treat it like a sprain. 4-6 weeks. Back off the weight since it is still hurting. Frank
