Hi Guys - When recovdering from a stress fracture in the ankle, what do you think is the best form of cardio training that places the least amount of stress on the joints? Has anyone tried swimming as cardio when dieting for a show?

Thanks!

Hi, I've never tried it as cardio for a show, however, I think it makes for a great HIIT workout. 500 W/U, then 50's hard/50's EZ 8-10 times,200 C/D. Hopefully, it'll help for a show prep too Confused.

Man, that's tough. Try it. I had such a massive sprain, it took several years to get back in without pain.

It probably will be good therapy as well. Water is one of the best theraputic forms for exercising injuries. Maybe Riptgirl will chime in.
