I home train. The pieces equipment I have now are a lat pull down and triceps bar I believe it's called, ( oval in shape, grips attached inside the oval, post on the outside. I train 3 days on, 1 off for a month, then take a week off. My workouts are as follows:
Day 1, ( Chest, shoulders, triceps ) Push-ups, ( including incline and decline using stair steps ) Military press Lateral raises Shoulder shrugs Tri pushdown nose-crusher Overhead extensions Day 2 ( Back, biceps ) Lat pulldown side bends bent over row ticep bar row, ( in place of dumbbell rows ) deadlifts seated z-lift ticep bar curl Bicep curl reverse curl Day 3 ( Legs ) Sissy squat stiff leg deadlift seated calf raises ( ti bar across lower thighs ) calf raises on stairs step up flutter kick can anyone think of anything else with the limited equipment I have available? How do the workout splits sound? Would you change them? many thanks |

Sounds like you are doing a great job with the limited equipment you have. I like the split but I would not take a week off from training…there is no need to take a week off unless you are injured or severely over trained. I would recommend investing in a few dumbbells and a utility bench...then you could do an endless variety of exercises.
