I am concidering purchasing an excersise bike. I have been looking at spinners. I need some feedback. Are the spinner bikes better than stationary bikes??? Any comments???

Matter of personal preference....a Spinner will allow you to set up more comfortably and in a realistic cycling position, but a stationary (Lifecycle,etc.) provides more statistical feedback via electronics. I find a stationary very uncomfortable (too upright, tractor seat,etc) but use both regularly. Before purchasing, spend an extended period on both at a gym and see which you prefer. As far as the workout each gives...you will get out of either what you put into it.

Depending on the weight of a person, the spinner bike is structurally stronger to withstand the pressure of get up as though you're starting or climbing. It has better support, too.
