I have used it and loved it right away. I like to mix with the creatine and the glutamine and sip throughout workout. Recently I used it during a power lifting meet which from start to finish was about 3 hours. I like to keep it ice cold. I also keep a water bottle, and sip on both during workouts.

When I first tried it, it was very sweet tasting to me and I didn't care for it nor noticed much of a difference. That was when I was eating a lot of calories.

During contest training I gave it another shot, and like DAC I mix it with creatine pre workout, and glutamine during my workout. That knocked the sweetness down and I love it. Also with the calorie restricted diet I definitely notice a big difference in my strength and energy levels during workouts. It's a must have for me.

Does anyone know what the actual calorie count is on a scoop of Uplift? ...and how many carbs, sugars, etc?

There are about 15g of amino acids (protein) in Up Lift, so you could say that it contains 60 calories. But these are mostly free form amino acids that are absorbed directly into the blood stream and do not need to be digested, making it essentially non caloric. Even in the strictest contest diets, we would not count any calories coming from UpLift.

Uplift has been a weird supplement for me. Last off season is when I first tried it. I didn't notice much by itself except a little more focus, but then I discovered the 3 ways it works for me:

First, I tried 1 scoop (an additional scoop during hard training sessions) with a cup of coffee or two. That is when it hit me. It was like a one two punch. I had great workouts when I took it with caffeine, but I like that you have the option to add it.

The second way it worked well for me was during my last contest prep. I took it when energy was low through out the day. It was a life saver. I called it my anti-Zombie formula. When you are really dragging you notice a huge difference from this stuff. Precontest it is a must for me.

Third, I just started taking it with Glutamine select, Creatine select, Muscle Synergy, Mass Maker, and Muscle Provider. I still have some coffee with this as well. Now, I have taken all of these products before and some together(Muscle Synergy Creatine Select, and Glutamine Select)and the results from that were crazy, but when I added Uplift my pumps, strength increases, and recovery have been unreal. I just began using Uplift this week and my workouts have never been better. I am strong, focused and I have unbelievable energy. It is amazing how every new Beverly product I try is better than the one before. I have my coffee in the morning as well, followed by my Creatine Select with Muscle Synergy and one scoop of Uplift. I mix another scoop with my Glutamine Select and drink it through my workout and I can not believe the energy. This product truly rocks!

Colleen,

Thanks for posting your results with Up-Lift and how you are using it. There are a lot of readers out there who like to know how others use the supplements.
