Hi all,

I'm new to Beverly, but have heard great things! I am looking to not only lose about 20-25 lbs., but also add muscle. Any tips on what Beverly supplements I should start with.

Thanx!!

Definitely start with their proteins- Muscle Provider, Ultimate Muscle Protein, and Ultra Size. I am addicted- they taste like a treat instead of something thats good for you! Also check out the 'recipes' forum to find great ways to prepare these proteins instead of just the usual 'protein shake'- i.e. puddings, pancakes, cookies, pies, crepes etc!

Good Luck!

I agree w/"KellyKel." Definitely start out w/a protein powder. Vanilla UMP and chocolate Muscle Provider are my favorites. They taste like no other protein powder you have ever had.

The girls are right...the first thing I would recommend is a protein. If you are a chocolate lover I recommend Muscle Provider chocolate. If you love vanilla, I'd start with UMP vanilla. They are both great for building muscle and losing fat.

I would then recommend the Lean Out. It will help you use stored body fat as fuel/energy and maintain lean mass. If you can do caffeine, you might try 7-Keto MuscLean too, as it's awesome for increasing metabolism and helping you burn more calories. I love taking them together…it’s a great one-two punch for fat loss and metabolic support.

A super great all around product would be EFA Gold. It helps with fat loss, joint support, mental acuity, skin, hair and nail health, organ function, the list of benefits for EFA Gold goes on and on...

Hope this helps. Best wishes in reaching your goals.

Joint Care is an awesome product for those with existing joint pain - or for those who are trying to prevent it. It helps maintain healthy joints, relive swelling and inflammation, decrease pain, speed recovery, rebuild damaged connective tissue, increase strength in the joint and help guard against increased injury. Sound good?

I hadn't taken Joint Care for a while because I didn't feel like I needed it. I started running and I needed it almost immediately. Since I didn’t have any build up of it in my system I did a “loading phase”. This helps is get to work faster.

For existing pain, I recommend taking a whole bottle within a week. That’s about 4 caps 3 times a day. I know that sounds like a lot, but it should really help. After the loading, back down to 3 caps 2 times a day for maintenance. If you are starting to take it simply for maintenance you can just start with 3 caps 2 times a day.

I don't want to kill Beverly's business (I literally flew into Cincinnati to pack two big suitcases full of discounted MP and MM), but if you're obese and you want to lose weight - train and diet. Unless you don't have the time to eat a good lunch/dinner because of work, I wouldn't waste your money on protein.

The key is dedication - pick a good diet and stick to it! Pick a good training regiment and stick to it! There isn't anything magic to get to a fit level; just don't be stupid - no junk food, keep your fats and carbs low and don't eat **** that's full of preservatives.

After three months of sticking to a good diet, weight training 3 times per week and cardio 4 times per week, stop back for advice on supplements to get you to that next level.
