Hi Everyone,

My workout which consists of two body parts (excluding legs) and 1/2 hour of slow cardio on the eliptical machine. I usually finish at 10:30PM or 11PM. To date, I have stuck with Muscle Provider (3 scoops) with added Glutamine, 1000mg of vitamin C, alpha lipoic acid, Pycnogenol & Astaxanthin as additional antioxidants. I have dumped any carb such as Mass Maker, oatmeal, fruit, etc... Is it a smart idea to dump the carbs considering the time of night I eat? What do you guys eat if you work out that late? I am looking to cut-up yet of course retain as much muscle as possible. Still have a little bit of body fat at the front of the stomach (barely a tad at the love handles) but that seems to be going away since I started using "just a little" ECA just for this purpose. Without official measurement, I would say I am about 6-7% bodyfat which I want to get a tad lower but eating so late could be a problem. Your input would be appreciated.

Thanks

The body is like a sponge at that time Id have some pwo carbs, keep them low glycemic, MM works, but so does sweet potato or oats.

With people who are more carb sensitive I do 15% of carb intake at meal 1 after sleep all night. 25% before workout and 30% after. Then all other meals are pretty much protein/fats and trace carbs. I also set this up down the stretch when trying to lean up more and more.

Opinions will differ but I would not advise someone, nor would I myself not take carbs in pwo no matter if cutting or not cutting.

I could care less about the time. I train at 6 eat carbs pwo at 830 and then eat more carbs before bed at 10:30pm. I did that for the first 12 weeks I just started pulling my meal 6 carbs, but I still have my pwo carbs.

Opinions will differ. Try it with some carbs and see what you see.

Good Luck
