Utilizing Ultra 40 and Mass (or Density) is the most proven method there is for retaining or building muscle while you drop fat. One absolute is that food has to be limited in some fashion to starve your fat off. This also starves muscle. Supplements provide nutrients to feed your muscles without excess calories to allow the fat to keep stripping. Nothing does this better than Ultra 40 and Mass or Ultra 40 and Density. Can people diet without them? Of course, but it’s a recipe for muscle loss. Especially if you have more than just a few pounds to lose. In decades of experience we’ve never met a person that has hindered their fat loss by taking Mass and Ultra 40. But they’ve certainly hindered results by not. Many proven diet gurus that have been making champions with our products for decades do not even count the calories or protein in Mass and Ultra 40. They assign the diet and then add Mass and Ultra 40 as extra – these calories are not going to prevent fat loss. They’re the most nutrient rich calories in your diet. Utilizing these provides a level of nutritional density that would be comparable to someone eating thousands of calories more. There seems to be hesitation of taking the correct dose, when in fact the only mistake with dosing on these products is usually taking too little. Sandy and Roger give their 12 yr old dog (who weighs 60 lbs) 7 liver tabs with breakfast every morning and she consumes about 30 each day. From Vince Gironda back in the day to Dr Eric Serrano and Charles Poliquin, Ultra 40 is regarded as the world’s most perfect food for a bodybuilder. None of this is theory. In fact nothing that we at Beverly will ever recommend is based in theory, because we’ve been there and done that. We only recommend methods that work for everyone of every gender, genetic level, bodytype, advancement etc. This supplement method has been utilized and proven longer than any other. I agree. Big fan of both Mass and Ultra 40. AND NOW a HUGE fan of DENSITY!! Can't live without these supps. I did away with the Mass/Ultra 40 for just a little bit and I never realized how much of an energy drop I recieved from doing that. Got back on and POW! More energy, WAY better workouts, and better pumps. The one thing I will never go without is the Density though. There is simply no reason to NOT use them and no reason to STOP using them. They are a "lifer" as far as I'm concerned. Vijay Rock Puri, D.C. | |||

Steven You make some great points. I can not tell you how many athletes prep for competiton and try and skimp on the Mass and Ultra 40's...only to find that they lose energy and stop recovering as well. As soon as they put the Mass and Ultra 40 back into the diet they have more energy, less cravings, and recovery improves. I have been competing for 10 years and have prepped competitors for the last 8. I fall in the group that does not count calories or grams of protein in either. We never cut Mass or Ultra 40 during prep, espeically when trying to drop the last bit of bodyfat. It is common for us to increase them both, or switch Mass for Muscle Mass and double the Ultra 40. Increasing them both, especially the Ultra 40, also works great for athletes of other sports. We have taken Ultra 40s to 40 or more per day for Powerlifters (I had a powerlifting team at my gym with over 35 National and World records, 1000 lb squat, 650 bench, 500 raw bench, and more), Cyclists and Runners (10K, Half and full Marathoners.) Back in the 60s as drugs were starting to take root in the bodybuiling community we suddenly saw many of the supplements that actually worked get cast aside, granted at this time there were not many that worked. Liver pills work and always have. Do they work as well as drugs, no of course not. If drugs are quasi-legal and available most opted to use drug. Many also opted to NOT use supplements, ie liver pills. Those that have no idea who Vince Gironda is, google him and read some of his stuff and who some of his clients were...you have no doubt seen them on TV and in the movies over the years. He knew what he was doing and his results speak for themselves. Most importantly he did it before drugs corrupted and skewed the information of what really works, especially for drug free athletes. Here is another interesting piece of info.... Anyone remember the Supplement Review Guide by Vince Aldrich (pen name for Bill Phillips.) This was to be the supplement bible. In it I recall Liver Pills were referred to as "Old School" as if what worked "back in the day" no longer works. Of course many products conveniently produced by a company called EAS seemed to score really well or outstanding. Especially the new, cutting edge ones. "Old School" If it worked back then it will most certainly work now.
