I have been lifting and taking beverly products for years now. I recently had a baby and when I was pregnant I stopped taking ultra 40s. I read that beef liver should be avoided due to the steroids used in cows. Should I continue not to take them? Does anyone know anything that may be helpful?

I suggest that you call the Bev Reps when you get a chance. Who better to know the answer to this question the company itself?

Id also be concerned about the extra iron being passed on. Id call, and listen to you doc too.

Any type of question regarding pregnancy or nursing needs to be presented to your Doctor.

Ultra 40 is intended for adults trying to gain muscle and lose fat. Even good nutrients can be too much for a newborn. Again, ask your doctor specifically.

BTW, Ultra 40 is composed of Argentenian beef liver where no steroids, hormones or pesticides are used. It's free ranging beef that grazes off the land. Steroids in the liver in this case is a non-issue. What is an issue is the high potency of the nutrients. Ask your Doctor.

From the words of the fitdoc, no. LOL

He would always suggest using fresh, whole foods, no supplements.

I suggest only whole food, 100% certified organic. Smile, nothing less. Of course, $$$ is the other question.
