I take 36 a day (6 tabs, 6 meals), so that's about 72 grams of protein and 315 calories. I won't be get getting all the other good stuff (B12) but I need to keep the protein level pretty consistant.
I think it is good to cycle all supplements so I would not sweat it about being out for a few days. The lack of protein should not be a problem if just for a few days however if it is going to be a little longer then yeah I would up the rest of your protein a bit to compensate the MP would work or just simply increase the food at each meal a bit for instance add an extra egg white or two with breakfast an extra ounce or two of chicken with lunch etc.
