Hello All,

My fitness goal is to maximize lean muscle gain. I weigh about 192 lbs and am 5'8 at 31 yrs old. I honestly do not know my body fat. I have been training with weights for about 15 years. I do not do cardio, unless you include martial arts as cardio which I have also been doing for about 15 years.

I've never been particularly careful with my diet mainly because I just do not store fat easily (always have had great obliques/serratus!.) It could be due to the fact that between martial arts and weight lifting I train 3 hours per day, 5 days a week.

I've been using Bev products for the past year with good results. I'd like to pack on about 15 more lbs of lean mass. The products I use are mass maker, muscle provider, mass aminos, creatine select and for the past two months muscle synergy. I take 24 tablets per day, 8 when I first wake up, 8 20 minutes before training or in the early afternoon if I'm non training that day and 8 about 15 minutes after training or before dinner. I'm just not noticing any results with muscle synergy and am thinking about no longer using this product. Is there something wrong with the way I am taking it? Could it be related to my training?

I have been using Muscle Synergy for 2 years; I pop 8 as soon as my eyes open at 5:45 preworkout, then I do morning workout which is aerobics with weights...kickboxing with weights, (no food eaten yet) sipping on Glutamine Select w/bcaa....then I pop another 8 at 4pm as hubby and I weight train 2gether at 5ish simply weights....great pumps, great results for both of us...he does 16 when he leaves work for his drive home so he is ready to pump iron....take on empty stomach.....good luck!

I love the product. My pumps and strength are better and Ive done pre contest with and without, got better results with.

You could try your supp arsenal without and monitor your training progress.

But, to directly answer your question you are taking them right assuming you are taking on empty stomach.

My experience w/ Synergy is this:
I had been doing 'the usual' in regards to supplementation/training via the Bev way, and wanted a little "more". I am a hard gainer, and needed a tad extra muscle and energy while training for my most recent figure show.
So, I added in the Synergy, in an amount that worked for ME.....4 in the AM before food/training, then 3 w/ each of next 4 meals throughout the day. I guess that I then had a constant flow of the ingredients going on.
And it ended up that I gained size, lost my last % of fat that I wanted too!
So, everyone is different, you may need to experiment on yourself. Plus, it is not an 'overnight sensation' type of product, it takes time and consistent use to notice a difference.

Nadine? Are you a hard gainer? What do you think of Mass Maker and do you incorporate that supplement into your diet? I have completely fallen in LOVE with Mass Maker, although I am not a hard gainer and use MM in a different way then suggested, but you could really benefit from that product if you are a tru "hard gainer".

Hey Chunky Butt....
I don't know what the true test of a "hard gainer" is, but based on my knowledge, I think I am. I have a great training program and nutrition/supplement (Beverly) regimen. This was provided by Julie Lohre, I hired her for my firt four figure comps this year, and have done well on her recommendations. I just know that we are all different, some women just seem to gain muscle easier than I do, although I do lose fat fairly easily, so that is a plus.
No, I have not used MM, I may do so as a post-workout shake. I usually have 1 1/2 scoops of ump or mp and a small carb after working out, but MM seems to make more sense and is convenient.

Nadine,

Well Julie Lohre is a tremendous competitor, knowledgable, and I have a giant crush on her so all of that is great... You should definetly think about using the MM post-workout if you are already doing a small carb after your workout. Try this: 2 scoops Mass Maker, 1 scoop Muscle Provider for post workout. You'll love it!

..... tell Julie I said "what's up", she'll probably act like she doesn't know me...... whatever. Big Grin

Thanks for the advice. I will do the MM, MP. It really would make it much easier, plus I already know that my system loooooves Bev protein!
And,when I do talk to Julie, shall I refer to you as "Chunky Butt" or Vijay? Smile

Have you or anyone else tried to take additional niacin while using this product? There is about 200 mg of niacin in this product. I've been taking about 1 gram of niacin along with this product and it seems to help with vasodilation although my face gets red for about 15 minutes. Any thoughts?
