Just wondering why Beverly Nutrition does not make a protein bar? Sometimes they are just more convenient....has this been discussed before?

There are too many manufacturing irregularities that result in bars that do not meet the lable claim.

Complicating this further is the fact that it is very difficult to produce a bar that tastes good...yet is not as stiff as a board.

Here is a great example with bars.

The typical bar costs $2.50.
The retail outlet makes $1-1.25 on each bar.
The distributer or manufacturer makes $.75-1.00 per bar

Tell me what type of quality food you can buy for less than $1.00???

Even at McDonalds it is hard to buy something for less than a dollar.

Make your own. It's not quite the "bar" but beats out all the **** and you have the "GOO". LOL

Add a little water to your fav Bev protein, throw in 1/3 pak of sugar-free instant pudding, now that will beat a bar ANYTIME.

My favorite was:

1 scoop US
3 scoops mASS Maker
1/3 pak cheese cake flavor s/f pudding
A little water

1 spoon.

Now, if you're adventureous, try this:

2 scoops UMP (Chocolate)
Make to a thick paste

Layer 2 TBS Natural PB in a bowl.
Spread the UMP paste on top.

Yeah, baby!

Any of these can be prepared to be consumed as easily as opening a cheap protein bar ($3.50 cheap?)
