While on the subject of Synergy, I just increased my doses from 8 to 10 after waking and before training.
I've noticed with the morning dose (never on the pre-training dose) some red spots around my elbows and tricep area and it feels warm. Could the increased dose of niacin be the cause?? I've observed this for a week now and it only seems to happen when I drink coffee 10 or 15 minutes after the Synergy. Is the hot liquid breaking the tablets up too quickly??
I have stopped with the coffee and everything is fine. Just wondering if I had the problem figured out.

I really don't believe it is the increased dose. Hot coffee, yes. Are you taking a vitamin pack, too?

I just started with the synergy last Thurs. That evening I had alot of edema in legs and hands. I was also on my feet all day and working in the heat. Does anyone know if synergy could have contributes to the edmema. I have never had this prob before and havnt changed anything else with diet or supps.

Frank,

I am taking a Super pak, but not for at least an hour after that. Had no problems this morning or any other since the backing off on the coffee.

Mussy,

Chances are that's from sodium or some other reason if you think the edema feeling is subcataneous. The creatine wouldn't be felt, at least that was my experience.

Frmrnyr,

The hot rush was definitely the coffee. I'm needing to try that! LOL

Mussy,

I notice a big difference in swelling and water retention depending on the weather. The hotter and more humid it is, the more I retain. I do notice that when I am outside working in the heat and humidity, I will have some edema.

Don't know what causes it...just an observation. Maybe it has something to do with female hormones?

Tee, the wether probably is to blame. I agree. It was in the 90's and humid and I did work out side all day and was on my feet-just hasnt done that for awhile so I thought it might be something else.
