Curious whether people take Synergy all the way through to contest day or cut it the last week, since MS has some creatine in it (not a lot). Some people think creatine causes bloat and take creatine out at the start of peak week or a couple days before contest day so they don't hold any extra water. Others believe that creatine draws water into the cell (not intracellular water that makes you puffy) and is beneficial in having full volume cells.

Do not stop with the MS at this point. It will only help you draw sub-Q water into the muscle cell. Great product and one you can use all the way up to the show. I would actually reccommend you double your dose on the day of your contest. Take 12-16 tabs 30 mins before you hit the stage at both pre-judging AND the night show... You can trust Beverly ALL THE WAY through your dieting!

Chunky’s recommendations are right on.
Subcutaneous water retention is a creatine myth. The miss association of this myth is the fact that there are soooo many poor quality creatine supps out there that are loaded with sugars and fillers, or who knows what else, that do cause bloating. It's a problem of product choice, not a creatine problem. That's a non-issue with anything Beverly. |
