Though I feel as though I'm popping more pills than my 80-year-old grandmother, and I'm seeing TREMENDOUS results, I'm wondering if there's not something else I should be taking to achieve my desired results.
Background information: I'm 20-years-old, 5'4.5", 119 lbs., and 12.7% bodyfat. My goal is to compete in my first figure competition this coming October. So, I'm still about 34ish weeks out. I have PLENTY of time, but I don't have much lean muscle mass, right now. I know NOW is the time I need to really work on gaining so that when it comes time to really prepare for the competition, I'll have something to work with. Currently, I'm taking: Mass Aminos 12-16/day Ultra 40 12/day UMP 1 shake/day MP 1 shake/day EFA 4/day Also taking my multi and some of the Beverly equivilant of my glucosamine/chondrotin, but yeah. Is there anything else I could be taking.. or should I be taking more of something that I'm currently on.. to get better gains? Maybe it's all in my diet. Granted, it's high in protein -160g/day, maybe should I up my carbohydrate intake as one person has already suggested? I lift heavy and AM seeing results, but I could still really use more lean muscle mass.. |

Maybe try using Creatine Select it works well. Also glutamine select. Maybe add an extra UMP or MP shake with some healthy fat added to it to get some exta calories that you need to build that lean muscle that you want. A little extra carbs in you diet at your meals may be good to, just monitor your results.
