I currently have my bf taking 5 ultra 40 and 4 density with meals, 12 synergy (pre workout), 12 synergy (post workout), uplift (pre-workout), mass maker, glutamine select and muscle mass (during workout), EFA, and super pak.

Can I incorporate creatine select and mass aminos? I can have him do ultra 40 and mass with meals, then we can use the density pre and post workout... and I can have him do the creatine select post workout with the mass maker

How does this look? Anything I can eliminate or do differently?

You can shovel any supps you want down his throat, but what is his diet like??? That is the key as to what should be added or taken out. Also, what is his BF%, and weight??? That will give us an idea of what to do there

If you arent adding sea salt to your meals you are missing out. Its VERY anabolic. A wet watery cell is an anabolic cell. Think about it what to anabolics do, they store water intracellularly. Im NOT saying sea salt IS anabolic, but keeping the cell wet aid the anabolic process.

Ill link some good articles tomorrow. Im getting off the computer right now.

O ok so it will assist in the anabolic process...Should I be doing that during contest prep or save it for the off season?

im a big believer in poliquins bcaa loading protocol in off season and precontest. especially with high gly load meals pre and post workout. i take around 12 grams before/during and 12 grams post workout meal if you can afford muscle mass that would be around 25-30 muscle mass pills i use primaforce bcaa powder to add to my glutamine select the energy is amazing. remember liver doesnt have enzyme to creak down bcaas. muscle does.

His diet is on point. We use the 50-20-30 diet from the competition publication that Beverly put out. I pack all his meals and supps for him every day, i follow the meal preparation to a T, so all he has to do is EAT! We are also doing the old school muscle building (squatting)program From BMJ 14. Our diet, training, and supps are good, but I want to tweak things and kick it up a notch. I just think it would be better to do the mass/ultra combo with meals and use the density elsewhere. Additionally, i think maybe he should get on creatine select instead of uplift, though this squatting program advocates uplift because you tend to run short on energy.... Thanks for the advice, I may try to BCAA powder as well!

if your on a size gaining program you shouldnt be running out of energy with surplus cals. i can train in a deficit and not run out of energy. but thats me and im messed up.

Depending on his bodytpe the 50 20 30 may not be optimal in my humble opinion for gaining muscle in the offseason. To much protein needs to be ingested at higher cal levels and not enough carbs. It wouldnt put much size on me. I need to get carbs high, fats around 25-30% and eat just enough protein for my LBM. If the energy sources are higher you dont need all that protein to grow.

NOw you dont need to answer this, but if he is "assisted" then he can handle more protein than a natural.

40/40/20 much better in offseason for growth, assuming he isnt 100% endo. In that case I advice carb cycling, 50/20/30 may be appropriate with two carb spike days where he would eat a 40/45/15 diet.
