How come Beverly doesn't put back the Beef Peptides into Ultra Size and Mass Maker formulas? I know there was a beef scare, but there was also an egg scare (so was the result in discontinuing Beverly 100% Egg Protein) and Beverly still adds Egg to all its proteins?

Dr. Serrano originally designed Ultra Size to have: Milk Protein Isolates, Calcium Caseinates, Whey protein concentrates, Beef Plasma-Peptides, Egg Albumen, and Lactalbumin...

So why the drastic changes and why no more Beef?

Hi Chunky,

The beef protein was taken out of Ultra Size and Mass Maker several years ago when the mad cow scare first was so prevalent. You can directly thank our good old American media for this one. Even though there was absolutely zero risk whatsoever of contamination, we received calls about it daily. It became absurd. There was only a small amount in there to provide another unique amino acid profile, the same purpose the egg serves. So we removed that small amount and increased the egg. It wasn’t a drastic change because the beef and egg and now just the egg are in very small amount (because that’s all that’s needed here) to fill in the amino acid profile and make it stronger throughout. The workhorse components of Ultra Size always were and still are milk protein isolate and whey. It’s designed to be much like mother’s milk. When the beef was removed and the egg increased, we never saw one bit of difference in results.

****, useless media.... I really liked knowing that there was "beef" in my shakes....

Oh well, I still get some beef with every meal from Ultra 40's.
